The Bacon Brothers

The Bacon Brothers:

“The Bacon Brothers are a match made in Americana heaven, implementing their own spin on an aged sound.” – Paste Magazine

Long before Kevin Bacon launched his screen and stage career, and before Michael Bacon became one of the top composers for TV and film, Kevin and Michael were just two brothers who liked to play music. In 1995, a childhood friend approached them about doing a one night only gig in their hometown of Philadelphia under the name “The Bacon Brothers.” After that, the rest was history. Since then, the band released seven studio albums, appeared on numerous radio, television, and web programs, and toured extensively throughout North America and Europe. The brothers’ first studio release in 1997 “Forosoco” derived from how the brothers describe their genre: a rockin’ mix of folk, rock, soul, and country.

Don’t be fooled by their Hollywood credentials because critics agree: the brothers — Michael on vocals, guitar and cello and Kevin on vocals, guitar and percussion — along with the rest of the band are legit musicians. They steer away from any hint of glitz and glamour in favor of a grittier rock sound with a touch of Philadelphia soul to create an unforgettable musical sound all their own. This Summer, get ready to experience the music prowess of The Bacon Brothers at The Levoy Theatre. One night only.

Heads up–pre-sale to Members only begins Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Want to join in on the epic pre-sale? Then head HERE to start your Annual Levoy Membership today!
