Volunteer Ambassadors are a vital component to the overall success of the Levoy. At the heart of every Levoy Theatre Ambassador is one common trait: a passion for the arts in our community.
Participating in volunteer activities gives you the opportunity to:
• Meet new people
• Feel appreciated
• Learn more about the arts community
• See performances for free while giving back to the Levoy
Volunteer Ambassador Requirements
The Levoy Theatre volunteer program welcomes all individuals who meet the following requirements, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, or national origin.
Applicants to the Levoy volunteer program:
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be willing to attend and complete Ambassador training
• Must be willing and able to perform all duties expected of a volunteer.
What are the duties of a Volunteer Ambassador?
Volunteers assist patrons in a variety of settings before, during and after a performance. Assignments are made by the Front of House Staff for activities such as taking tickets, coat check, concessions and assisting patrons in locating their seats. Ambassadors are often the first point of contact guests will encounter upon visiting the theatre. They will help guide patrons into the theatre, answer questions about parking, area dining and attractions, and provide assistance to guests in and around the exterior of the theatres.
