We are excited to spotlight another lead performer in OBSP’s upcoming production of Lerner & Loewe’s classic musical, Brigadoon.
Chrissie Capece will be playing the role of Meg Brockie in the show. She is “thrilled to be playing alongside such tremendous talent including her dear friend, Rachel Burghen.”
This is Capece’s 6th production with OBSP. Her talents have been seen both on the stage as an actress and as a costume coordinator for a number of OBSP productions. Some of her favorite previous roles include Hairspray (Amber VonTussle), Oliver! (Nancy), Happy Days: a New Musical (Pinky Tuscadero) and The Secret Garden (Martha).
When asked about the show, Capece explains “I feel that Brigadoon is a magical musical that brings two worlds together and shows that the power of love can overcome any obstacle. The music of Brigadoon is gorgeous and has a mystical element that will transport the audience to another place and time.”
You won’t want to miss Chrissie Capece in OBSP’s stunning production of Brigadoon, opening at the Levoy Theatre on November 11 and running through November 20.
