Kelsey Vizzard is “beyond excited to return for her second show at the beautiful Levoy Theatre.” She began her theater experience with The Off Broad Street Players in 2007 and continued to perform with the group until 2011 when she left for college. She graduated from Fordham University in 2015.

Returning to OBSP/The Levoy Theatre almost a decade after she first began, Kelsey considers it a dream come true to finally perform on their home stage.

Kelsey says, “I was never really into The Who’s Tommy album growing up. It wasn’t until I heard that OBSP was doing Tommy that I actually listened to the album in its entirety, and now I am in love.”  She now listens to the album daily.

Now a big fan of the musical, Kelsey sharess, “My favorite musicals are those with big and exciting songs and dance numbers, and [The Who’s] Tommy is jam-packed with them. The ensemble plays such an important role in this show, both on stage and off, that we hardly have time to catch our breath. But that only makes the rehearsals more exciting and the performances more energized.”

When asked what her favorite part about this production is, Kelsey says, “It’s hard to pick just one thing. I am so excited to perform on the Levoy stage again. It is still a magical feeling to step on that stage, OBSP’s home.”

She shares, “I am also excited for the non-stop action of this show, the big dance numbers and the upbeat songs. The dances are so much fun, and I know that when we add our live rock band, this show is going to be powerful.”

Tori Tatulli “is super excited to be part of the ensemble of one of her favorite shows, [The Who’s] Tommy!”

Tori is currently a musical theatre major at Rowan University and has been in/directed many shows. Some past credits include: Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime, Peppermint Patty in Snoopy!, Angie in The Wedding Singer, and as a part of the Ensemble in Nine. She was last seen on the Levoy stage in Chicago.

Tori shares, “I first experienced [The Who’s] Tommy when I saw the show at a community theatre over the summer in 2010. The show kept me on the edge of my seat & I couldn’t look away! I was so captivated by Tommy’s story…”

She mentions, “Tommy is such an original piece of art. I love that it comes from an awesome rock album that all my family members are familiar with.”

When asked what she loves about The Who’s Tommy, Tori said “What I love about [The Who’s] Tommy is how unique it is. I love that it comes from an awesome rock album by The Who and that there was a tour centered around the story. It’s a real rock musical experience for anyone! There is also 4 generations of men named Tommy in my family so the name is close to me (& they can’t wait to see the show.)”

You won’t want to miss Kelsey Vizzard and Tori Tatulli when they return to the Levoy stage in OBSP’s stellar new production of The Who’s Tommy, opening this Friday, February 10 and running through February 19.
