Foreigners Journey
comprises veteran members of the music scene, guys who’ve made it with their own original music. But since 2014 they’ve also dedicated themselves to something larger,
a supergroup intent on bringing the sounds, sights, and emotional thrills of two of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest bands to eager fans around the Northeast and beyond.
Fans of rock far and wide will vouch that sound recognizable rock sound tracked their young life, with bands that are forever lodged in their mind. Back then, the two acts might have been separated by an ocean, but together they helped define the “magic era” of classic rock. At one point not too long ago, they toured the world as a one-two combination, but don’t count on it happening again. Luckily, you can count on Foreigners Journey, a veritable tribute-band supergroup, to deliver the unforgettable experience of seeing both bands in one knockout show.

Featuring 2X Tony Nominated Star of Broadway’s Rock of Ages & American Idol Icon, Constantine Maroulis on Lead Vocals; Keyboardist Paul Kochanski, Bassist Joe Pettengill, and Drummer Art Mambuca (and his sprawling double kick-drum kit) all played together in the Journey tribute band Captured. And, rounding out the band is hotshot Guitarist Kevin Alexander Herrera, and Adam Tese on Saxophone. Their repertoire of classics hits by Foreigner and Journey (and a few surprises!) always provides a crowd-pleasing night of unforgettable music.
From power ballads like “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and “Faithfully” to anthems like “Jukebox Hero,” “Stone In Love,” “Cold As Ice,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and “Separate Ways,” Foreigners Journey are more than a tribute band. They’re a time machine, and their energy is infectious.

About Constantine Maroulis: Maroulis is best known for his iconic star turn in Broadway’s Rock of Ages for which he garnered a myriad of accolades including a Best Actor Tony Award® nomination, a Drama League Award nomination for Distinguished Performance, Broadway.com Star of the Year, and many more. Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, Maroulis became a household name during the heyday of “American Idol,” winning 30 million weekly viewer’s hearts and minds each week. Maroulis’s work on Broadway & on tour includes Frank Wildhorn’s Jekyll & Hyde, a performance for which Maroulis earned another Drama League nod. In addition to his appearances on TV and in movies, Maroulis’s on-stage credits include The Wedding Singer, RENT, Rocktopia, Jacques Brel, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, The Toxic Avenger, Friend Art, Postmodern Jukebox and many more. The Broadway revival of Spring Awakening (Deaf West) directed by Michael Arden earned Maroulis additional Tony® & Drama League nominations as a producer. Constantine’s current venture signals a triumphant return to New York City stages, Rock & Roll Man, the original musical about a musical original. Constantine plays the title character, Alan Freed, a Cleveland DJ who in the 1950s heard the future—and knew he had to let it sing. At that time, Freed named the genre “Rock & Roll,” bringing music to the masses and integrating artists and audiences on the airwaves and in concerts for the first time in history. As an RIAA Gold-Selling recording artist, Maroulis continues to create new, original music regularly. Maroulis is a graduate of the prestigious Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music and trained as an acting apprentice at Williamstown. Off stage, his inspiration is his daughter Malena. Constantine says: “There is nothing more important to me than spending time with Malena. Everything is for her and her future.”
