Scott Stapp of Creed:

Scott Stapp is known as a Grammy winning songwriter and frontman for Creed (over 50 million albums sold worldwide), and for his work as a solo artist who released the platinum-certified The Great Divide(2005) and Proof of Life (2013) which featured his first solo Billboard #1, “Slow Suicide.” His next solo venture reflects a new outlook after the biggest fight of his life – five years and counting. With new single “Purpose For Pain,” one of rock’s biggest names roars back to the scene with a driving, introspective new single. It is the first song from Scott Stapp’s upcoming album, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE SHADOWS, set for July 2019 release on Napalm Records. The album documents a five-year journey to find meaning – and redemption – in a world where shadows lurk and the space between is a gauntlet towards the light.

Don’t miss Scott Stapp: Voice of Creed live in concert for one night only.

About the Opener:

Weapons of Anew:

“[Weapons of Anew] had no shortage of energy with their stage performance…[and] left the crowd wanting more.” – Shockwave Magazine

“[Weapons of Anew] kept the audience mesmerized and could have easily played a longer set. They are definitely a band to watch out for.” – Music Life Magazine

Rarely are such accolades showered upon a band who had just completed their first-ever live shows; and who have yet to release their debut disc! Yet, while bands faced with similar obstacles often collapse from the immense pressure, Weapons of Anew flourished. During their opening sets on Alter Bridge’s recent “The Last Hero” tour the band’s members simply realized “they were meant to be together.”

Key to the band’s recent “live” success: the professionalism of the band’s musicians led by former Axiom and HavocHate guitarist Freddy Ordine—and former Spread Eagle vocalist Ray West, a born frontman whose confidence and command of the stage has attracted a growing fan base now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the aforementioned debut.

Musicianship coupled with powerful vocals are obviously important, but even the most talented artists stumble without creative, catchy songs. But, as “The Last Hero” tour audiences will attest, each of the band’s songs resonate. From their first single and music video “Killshot” to their debut’s closing track—the potential radio hit–“Undone,” Weapons of Anew never relent. They are not afraid to sonically paint outside the lines and refuse to be “boxed in” or categorized. Their brash, bold sound is colorful, layered and textured; a testament to each member’s vast musical background while maintaining a strong nod to the new.
