Discover true friendship.

Driving Miss Daisy by Alfred Uhry

Alfred Uhry’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Driving Miss Daisy, the inspiration for the Academy Award-winning film of the same name, tells the story of two unlikely friends. When 72 year old, Jewish and wealthy Miss Daisy drives her 1964 Chrysler into her neighbor’s yard, her son buys her a new car and hires a chauffeur, Hoke Colburn, an elderly black man. What begins as a troubled and hostile pairing, soon blossoms into a profound, life-altering friendship that transcends all societal boundaries placed between them. Driving Miss Daisy has become one of the most beloved American stories of the late twentieth century.

DRIVING MISS DAISY is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.

DRIVING MISS DAISY was first produced Off-Broadway by Playwrights Horizons, New York City, in 1987.

Discover your happily ever after.

Into the Woods

Music and Lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM
Book by JAMES LAPINE

Originally Directed on Broadway by James Lapine
Orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick

In Sondheim & Lapine’s delightfully fractured fairy tale musical, a Baker and his Wife embark into the woods on a quest to reverse a curse laid on them by the Witch next door. Along the way they encounter an ambivalent Cinderella, an aggressive Red Riding Hood, a rebellious Rapunzel, a too-trusting Jack, and a couple of not-so-princely Princes. But when everyone’s wishes are granted, the consequences of their self-centered actions come to haunt them. Eventually they learn a moving life lesson about working together, the stories we tell our children, and the real meaning of “happily ever after.”

INTO THE WOODS is presented through special arrangements with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.MTIShows.com

Steel Magnolias:

Honey, it’s the 1980s. At Truvy’s beauty shop in Chinquapin, Louisiana, where anyone who is “anybody” comes to have their hair done, the motto is: “There is no such thing as natural beauty.” These Louisianian women are all sass and brass. Witty Southern banter flows like refreshing sweet tea on a hot summer day. Through clouds of hairspray and over the buzz of blow dryers, six Southern spitfires gather each week to gossip. But those bonds are about to be tested when these ladies face a life-changing event. The inspiration for both the 1989 and 2012 films of the same name, Steel Magnolias is a hilarious story of love, loss, and enduring friendship.

Directed by Lisa Piccioni
