The world premiere of The Paradox of Seabrook Farms by Estonian Dutch filmmaker Helga Merits debuted at the Levoy on March 16 to a sold out audience!  Due to popular demand, the film will be shown again on August 24.

What occurred in the small community of Seabrook Farms, NJ, is a universal story of hope and new beginnings about people who came with nothing and left with opportunities.

The film Paradox of Seabrook Farms by independent Dutch Estonian documentary filmmaker Helga Merits sheds light on the puzzling history of the Seabrook family and their factory workers; people of different countries and cultural backgrounds who had no other place to go.

The film took over five years to complete with assistance from people nearby and around the world. Merits interviewed over 50 people for the film whose stories are often emotional while telling true-life experiences of survival and perseverance.
