Elf – the Musical

Book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin
Music by Matthew Sklar
Lyrics by Chad Beguelin
Based upon the New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum

Elf the Musical, based on the 2003 New Line Cinema hit starring Will Ferrell, is the charming tale of Buddy, a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. Buddy is elf-raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, he embarks on a journey to New York City with dreams to find his birth father and discover his true identity. What’s an adopted elf to do when he realizes his father is on Santa’s ‘naughty’ list and his half-brother doesn’t believe that there is a Santa Claus? It’s up to Buddy to save Christmas! Find your inner ELF as the writers of Annie and The Wedding Singer bring us the unforgettable gift of a Broadway musical for the holiday season! After all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

ELF – THE MUSICAL is presented through special arrangements with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.MTIShows.com

GUYS AND DOLLS STORY
Set in Depression-era Times Square, Guys and Dolls is about a couple of big city gamblers and the women who love them. It tells the overlapping stories of high-roller Sky Masterson, who falls in love with mission worker Sarah Brown, and lovable rapscallion Nathan Detroit, engaged for 14 years to Miss Adelaide, a headliner at the Hot Box Club. Nathan runs a famous floating crap game, and an ongoing plot line involves his quest for a safe place for the game as Adelaide continues her quest to convince him to marry her. Meanwhile, Sarah, mistakenly believing that Sky set up an illegal game at the mission, tries to fight her affection for the charismatic crapshooter.

Based on the 20th Century Fox Picture
Originally produced on Broadway by Robert Greenblatt, April 2009

9 to 5: The Musical is the hilarious new Broadway musical based on the blockbuster 1980 film. Pushed to the boiling point by their boss, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there’s nothing they can’t do! Set in the late 1970s, 9 to 5: The Musical is a story of friendship and getting ahead in the Rolodex era. Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, 9 to 5: The Musical features music by the one and only Dolly Parton!
