STAFF BIOS

Maura Mather Jarve, She/her (Director), Maura is no stranger to the Levoy stage, having performed in “On Golden Pond” (Chelsea), “9 to 5” (Violet Newstead), “Annie” (Grace Farrel), “Lend Me a Tenor” (Diana), and “Godspell” (ensemble). This is her second time directing a show at the Levoy, with the first being “Sweeney Todd.” Maura works as a Graphic Designer for the investment company, Vanguard, and lives in Pittsgrove with her husband Chris, daughters Evelyn and Lily, and two spoiled cats.

Amanda Ilena Ellis, She/Her (Choreographer / Children’s Director), She has performed in “Seussical TYA” (Bird Girl) with TTW at the Levoy, “High School Musical 2” (Martha) at the Levoy Summer Camp. She has also stage managed “Beauty and the Beast” and “Little Women” with TTW at the Levoy. As well as the choreographer for “The Jungle Book KIDS” (2024) and music directed “101 Dalmatians”(2022) with the Levoy Summer Camp. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and production staff for welcoming her with open arms. A special thank you to my family and friends who cheer me on from anywhere! Break legs to all that are involved! 

Richie Rivera, (Lighting Designer / Music Director / Conductor), in addition to returning to the Levoy once again as a lighting designer, Richie is making his music directing and conducting debut at the Levoy! Richie is no stranger to the Levoy and has been providing lighting and immersive experiences since 2019. His recent works include Do It Big Productions “Into the Woods” and the Levoy’s “Once On This Island.” During the day, he is a computer engineer for the U.S. Navy in Philadelphia, and by night, he is an assistant marching band director for Millville High School. Richie would love to thank his family for their support in this new adventure, Sean, Carrie, and Maura for their leadership, Amanda for providing musical guidance during this process, and Kristina Kelley for running the lights in his place!

Carrie G Ellis She/Her (Stage Manager). She was the Stage Manager for Our Town, Elf the Musical OBSP/Levoy and Stage Manager for Seussical TTW/Levoy. She was the Production Manager for Our Town, Guys & Dolls, and the Stage Manager for To Kill A Mockingbird. She would like to thank the Levoy for all the opportunities it has provided her to learn and grow. She is grateful to this Production Staff for being the team players they all are and for supporting each other. Break legs to the entire cast and crew, you are all so kind and talented!

John Rattacasa He/Him (Hair/Make-Up Designer), Graduate from the Tom Savini School of Make-Up Effects and the Rizzieri Aveda School, John is a Make-Up & Effects artist, wig designer, and actor/singer from Glassboro, NJ. Recently wigging Ragtime with Triple Threat Workshop, and Marvelous Wonderettes at BToP, he’s excited to be back and designing wigs at his home theater! 

Ellen Mather, (Costumer), is happy to be back at the Levoy. Having performed many lead roles for OBSP, CP, and Cumberland, Salem and Gloucester county colleges, she is excited to return to the Levoy now, as the costumer, under the direction of her daughter, Maura Jarve. Ellen has previously costumed Camelot, Damn Yankees, and Sweeney Todd for OBSP and is glad to add the adventures of The Wizard of Oz to her portfolio. Ellen credits the show’s success to Maura, for her vision, and to the welcoming cast.

KYLIE BARDEN, She/her (Dorothy Gale), is from Mullica Hill, NJ. She was previously in “Sound of Music” (Lousia) at the Levoy and Candlelight Theater, “Our Town” (Rebecca Gibbs) at the Levoy, and “Number the Stars” (Ellen) at Haddonfield Plays and Players. Kylie would like to thank her supportive family, coaches, the production team, the cast of Wizard of Oz, and God for this fabulous opportunity and experience. This is truly a dream come true.
Hannah DeFrates The Good Witch
HANNAH LEE DEFRATES, She/her (Aunt Em/Glinda), is from Haddon Township, NJ. She was previously seen in “The Rocky Horror Show” (Columbia) at the Blue Moon Theatre, “Heathens on the Beach” (Hilda) at the Ritz Theatre Co., and “The Sound of Music” (Ursula.Nun) at OBSP. NERYS MULLER, She/her (Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch of West), is from Vineland, NJ. She was previously seen in “Spongebob Musical” (Sandy Cheeks), “Puffs” (Hannah/others), “American Idiot” (Whatsername), and “Sister Act” (Deloris Van Cartier). MARCO BARUFFI, He/him (Hunk/Scarecrow), is from Seattle, WA but is now residing in Vineland, NJ. He was previously seen in “The Sound of Music” (Male Ensemble) with OBSP and in “Legally Blonde” (Emmett Forrest) at CCTEC. He would like to thank his parents for letting him leave the house everyday even though he is about to leave for college and all they want to do is spend time with him. He is thankful to them for letting him do what he loves. And the entire Wizard of Oz cast who’s been willing to put up with him for the last few months.
Mike Palmreuter 1
MIKE PALMREUTER, He/Him (Zeke/Cowardly Lion), lives in Cape May, but he grew up in the thumb of Michigan. Mike has been in more than 70 shows in NJ, TX, IN, WI, IL, and NE with some work in commercials. Favorite shows include Ragtime (Tateh), Into the Woods (x3 -Baker, Cinderella's Prince, Narrator), the world premiere of Untitled Series #7 (Chris - Omaha all-area Best Leading Actor in a Play Award), The Producers (Franz Liebkind - Omaha all-area Best Supporting Actor in a Musical Award), Cabaret (Herr Schultz), Guys and Dolls (Nathan Detroit), The Crucible (John Proctor), The Drowsy Chaperone(Aldolpho) Mamma Mia (Bill Austin), Parade (Governor Slaton), The Bridges of Madison County (Bud), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Fool Moon Theatre (Leaf Coneybear). Immense thanks to the underappreciated efforts of Stephen Sheftz. Thanks also to castmates and parents through a difficult time. Much love. Michael Muzzarelli Uncle Henry
MICHAEL MUZZARELLI, He/him (Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard), is from Millville, NJ. When not performing on stage, you may find Michael Muzzarelli selling houses in your hometown in New Jersey. He has appeared in over ten productions at the Levoy Theater in Millville, including standout roles in *Sweeney Todd*, *Little Shop of Horrors*, *A Christmas Carol*, and *Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat*. Michael credits his success to the unwavering support of his family, especially his wife and daughters. He is thrilled to bring a classic he enjoyed as a child to the stage, and this particular show is truly a “horse of a different color.”
Jebediah Eachus
JEBEDIAH EACHUS, He/him (Hickory/Tin Man), is from Elmer, NJ. He was previously seen in “Into The Woods” (Narrator) DoItBig Productions, “The Wizard of Oz” (Ensemble) DoItBig Productions, and “The Addams Family” (Ensemble) DoItBig Productions. He would like to thank his parents and siblings for their support and encouragement of his theatrical interests. He would also like to thank the entire production team of DoItBig Productions throughout the years, for their guidance, direction, and encouragement of his theater hobby.
Hank Chandless
HANK CHANDLESS, He/him (Professor Marvel/The Wizard of Oz), is from Hasbrouck Heights, NJ but is now residing in Smithville, NJ. Some of his favorite previous roles include, “Harvey” (Dr.Chumley) with For The Whim, “Lost in Yonkers” (Uncle Louie) with OBSP, “12 Angry Men” (Bartie) with Cumberland Players, and “Blithe Spirit” (Dr.Bradman) with Cumberland Players. He would like to dedicate these performances to his daughter, Anna, who has magically turned his world into Technicolor. A huge thank you to the wonderful cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz—your patience with his antics has been nothing short of wizardry! Thank you for allowing him to step behind the curtain and pretend to be all-powerful; he promised not to let it go to my head... much. Mason Diaz Dance Ensemble
MASON LOUIS DIAZ, (Mayor of Munchkinland/Nikko) is 13 years old and from Blackwood, NJ. This is Mason’s second time appearing at the prestigious Levoy Theatre and he is thrilled to be back on its stage. Some of his favorite roles include Bruce Bogtrotter (Matilda, DTP); Michael Hobbs (Elf, Gateway High School); and Charlie Winslow (Holiday Inn, Levoy). When Mason isn’t performing, he is on the soccer fields or the track. Mason would like to thank Maura, Carrie and Amanda for this amazing opportunity, along with his family and friends for always supporting him as he pursues his dreams. He hopes you enjoy taking a journey along the yellow brick road!
Brayden McPherson Childrens Ensemble
BRAYDEN MCPHERSON, (Coroner of Munchkinland/Dance ensemble) is from Rosenhayn, NJ. His previous roles were “Disney’s Mary Poppins Jr.” (Michael Banks) with Cumberland Players, “Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.” (Flotsam) with the Levoy Theatre, and “Disney’s Finding Nemo Kids” (Marlin) with Deerfield Township School Drama Club. KATE HATHAWAY, She/her (Barrister of Munchkinland/Dance ensemble), is from Williamstown, NJ. She was previously in “Seussical Jr.” (Jojo) at Williamstown Middle School, “Matilda Jr.” (Lavender) at the Levoy, and “Matilda Jr.” (Matilda) at Broadway Theatre of Pitman. ADA MARANO, She/her (Fiddler of Munchkinland/Children’s ensemble), is from Washington Township, NJ. Her previous roles were, “Matilda” (Matilda) at Players Club of Swarthmore, “Mary Poppins” (Jane Banks) at the Media Theatre, and “A Christmas Carol” (Belinda Cratchit) at the Walnut Street Theatre. Ada is thrilled for her debut performance at The Levoy. Zoey McKay
ZOEY MCKAY, She/her (Braggart of Munchkinland/Adult Dance ensemble), is from Gloucester City, NJ. This is Zoeys’s 2nd show with Levoy, last seen in Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr. as Ensemble, also appeared in Gloucester Catholic High School’s Little Mermaid as Flotsam, Arista & Ensemble, and danced in several productions of The Nutcracker as Peppermint Pair, Beauty & the Beast Ballet, and Aladdin the Ballet with Tricia Sloan Dance Center. Zoey would like to thank her family, friends, Debra Michaels of Drop The Mic Vocal Performance Studio, Bob Burke, Zoey’s many dance teachers at Tricia Sloan Dance Center for their continued support, and Levoy for another amazing opportunity!

ELLA MARTYNICK, She/her (City Father #1 MKL/Children’s ensemble/Flying Monkey) is from Washington Township Sewell, NJ. She was previously in, “Newsies Jr.” (Crutchie) at the Pitman Theatre, “Matilda Jr.” (Alice and Hortensia) at the Pitman Theatre, and “Annie The Musical” (Orphan Ensemble) with Deptford Theatrical Productions. JACQUELYN CASIANO, (Tough Guy 3 MKL/Children’s Ensemble), is from Vineland, NJ. Jacquelyn is very excited to be part of the Wizard of Oz playing a Tough Guy in the children's ensemble. Jacquelyn’s previous roles at Levoy include Mowgli in Jungle Book Kids and Frog and Toad Kids. Jacquelyn’s roles outside of the Levoy include Beauty and the Beast Jr, Little Mermaid Jr and School House Rock Jr at Anthony Rossi Elementary School. Chloe was previously seen at the Levoy in OSBP’s production of the The Sound of Music as Gretl Von Trapp. Other favorite roles include Mary Lennox (The Secret Garen - WCDS Drama Club), Chip (Beauty & The Beast - WCDS Drama Club), JoJo (Seussical, Kids - BTOP), Charlie Bucket (Willy Wonka Kids - BTOP), Molly (Annie Kids - Levoy), and Ensemble (Matilda, Jr. - Levoy). Megan Panter
MEGAN PANTER, (Adult Dance Ensemble/Tree2/Dorothy u/s), Levoy debut! Previous credits include Shelby (The Prom), SpongeBob Musical (Mayor of Bikini Bottom), and A Chorus Line (Connie). When not on stage, she studies at Rowan University for Advertisement and Theater. She is so excited to perform alongside such talented people in one of her dream shows. CHRISTINE BARDEN, She/her (Celestial Voice), is from Mullica Hill, NJ. She was in “Once On This Island” (Ensemble) in high school, “Oklahoma” (Ensemble) in elementary school and she plays the flute and trumpet. She would like to thank her husband and to God. PATTY DAVIS, (Celestial Voice), is from Millville. She is an Assistant Social Work Supervisor at Bayside State Prison. She was last seen on the Levoy stage as Mother Abbess in OBSP’s production of The Sound of Music (November 2023). Her credits include My Fair Lady (Mrs Pierce) 2011, Sound of Music (Mother Abbess) 2012, Fiddler on the Roof (Golde) 2013, To Kill A Mockingbird (Maudie Atkinson) 2019, among many others. Love and thanks to my husband and two daughters for their support of my love for theater. Miss you mom!

Ronessa Acquesta
RONESSA ACQUESTA, (Celestial Voice), is from Williamstown, NJ. Ronessa Acquesta is apprehensive about making her debut as a celestial voice. Ronessa was last seen 28 years ago in the cafe-gym-autorium of St. Jude’s Elementary School as Margot in “The Diary of Anne Frank.” She had a brief stint as a dancer in college where her sorority sisters told her she could “stand in one place and just move her arms up and down” for their Greek games week performance. She would like to “thank” the music directors for not firing her even though she told them that they could several times. Maybe she’ll try this again in another 4-5 years.

JENNELY AQUINO, (Celestial Voice), Jennely is thrilled to be making her Levoy mainstage debut. She is currently a senior at Millville High School and was recently a part of “Bye, Bye Birdie” for the Levoy Theatre teen camp. Her recent works include playing Tonya in Mamma Mia and the Big Kids ensemble in Matilda: The Musical at Millville High School. Jennely would like to thank her friends and family for their support, the staff of the Wizard of Oz for offering her singing talents, and the cast for making her feel right at home!

JIM COOK JR., He/him (U/S Zeke-Lion/Hickory-Tin Man), is from Woodstown, NJ. His last shows were “Holiday Inn” (Jim Hardy), “Our Town” (Simon Stimson), and “Les Miserables” (Enjolras) all at the Levoy Theater. He would like to thank Maura, Carrie, Amanda, Richie, as well as the Levoy board, staff, volunteers, artists, parents, and ghosts for making the magic happen!

BRODIE GIACONE, (Toto) - This is Brodie’s stage debut and he is excited to join his three nieces and nephews in the cast; Dorothy and two munchkins. Brodie follows in his humanly father’s footsteps who was a professional musician, as well. Brodie would like to thank his human mother, Ines Giacone, as well as the staff and crew of Wizard of Oz for this amazing opportunity to get so much attention and human pets.
