We are excited to spotlight one of the incredibly talented cast members of OBSP’s upcoming production of the hit rock musical sensation.
Andrew Jarema ” is delighted to return home to the Levoy stage in his first venture into playing ‘the bad guy'” as he takes on the role of Cousin Kevin.
He has previously performed with a variety of theatre companies in Southern New Jersey. Some of his favorite past onstage experiences include playing Leo Frank in Parade at the Haddonfield Plays and Players), Mark in Rent and Younger Brother in Ragtime, both with the Off Broad Street Players.
Andrew graduated from Rowan University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and works as a screener in psychiatric crisis. He would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support and love.
He says, ” Above all else, [I] hope that you can take a piece of Tommy with you and reflect on what you are doing to hinder your eyes, your ears, and your mind. Chip away at the illusions you are serving yourself with and witness what you already have. Don’t try too hard, my friends.”
You won’t want to miss Andrew Jarema’s dynamic take on “the school bully” Cousin Kevin, you’ll have to catch OBSP’s exciting production of The Who’s Tommy, opening at the Levoy Theatre on February 10 and running through February 19.
