We are excited to spotlight one of the talented cast members of OBSP’s upcoming production of the hit rock musical sensation.
Holly Knapp stars as the “Mrs. Walker” when “The Who’s Tommy,” presented by the Off Broad Street Players, takes life on the Levoy Theatre’s stage.
Holly “is thrilled to be involved in this her third OBSP production.” Past credits with the Off Broad Street Players include “Evelyn Nesbit” in Ragtime and “Regina” in Rock of Ages.
She has most recently been seen as “Mrs. Lovett” in Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street with the Cumberland Players in Vineland, NJ.
When asked about what she thinks about The Who’s Tommy, Holly said, “Tommy has been in my life since I was 14, my dad has always loved the music.” She says that she listened to the original concept album “for the entirety of the summer of 1996.”
She professed, “It’s incredibly special for me to be able to perform it for him, and with such a talented cast filled with people I absolutely adore.”
To see Holly Knapp take on the role of “Mrs. Walker” you’ll have to catch OBSP’s exciting production of The Who’s Tommy, opening at the Levoy Theatre on February 10 and running through February 19.
