New Jersey Ballet will hold auditions Tuesday, October 4 at 4:30PM on the stage at Levoy Theatre, 126-130 N. High Street, Millville to fill the roles of Mother Ginger’s clown children in the Company’s acclaimed production of Nutcracker. Children must be between the ages of 7 and 13, and have at least two years of ballet and/or gymnastics training. Those children selected will perform with the professional cast when New Jersey Ballet brings its popular Nutcracker to Millville for two performances on November 27.
This season is the third year that New Jersey Ballet’s Nutcracker has played at the Levoy Theatre. The production, known for its splendid special effects, lavish costumes and magnificent dancing, will be presented on
Sunday, November 27 with 2:00PM and 5:00PM performances.
In addition to the age requirement (7 through 13 years) an training (at least two years of ballet and/or gymnastics), children must be available for rehearsals on the six rehearsal dates to be announced. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled immediately prior to performance dates.
