John Waite:

John will be performing his catalog of hits from his 40 year career as a solo artist with The Baby’s and Bad English.

John Waite’s catalog of hits features some of the most loved songs of the 80s and 90s – the #1 Worldwide hit ‘Missing You’, The Baby’s ‘Isn’t It Time’ and Bad English ‘When I See You Smile’ rank among some of his biggest international hits and are still heard on radio today. Others include ‘Tears’, ‘Change’ and ‘These Times Are Hard For Lovers’. ‘Every Step Of The Way’ and ‘If Anybody Had A Heart’ appeared on the soundtrack to the 1986 Demi Moore film About Last Night. ‘Deal for Life’, penned by Martin Page and Bernie Taupin, was featured in the Days Of Thunder soundtrack.

As a solo artist and as the lead singer of The Baby’s and Bad English, John Waite was a fixture of album-oriented rock radio stations during the ’70s and ’80s. John Waite had a talent for power ballads and driving arena rock, occasionally touching on new wave-styled power pop as well.

The Collective Bus:

Some artists entertain, Others captivate, Daniel Correa electrifies.

Daniel is singer, song writer and composer who masterfully fuses Afro Cuban rhythms with modern Pop and Rock to deliver an eclectic, vibrant and exuberant sound.

His music, an innovative blend of alternative rock and pop, is a high-octane testimonial to the exhilaration, yearning, and angst that defines coming-of-age.  Working with his Grammy-nominated producer,  Ahmed King, he uses his unique and powerful voice to address the inner struggles and challenges of everyday life, the thrill and fear of taking chances, and the elation of betting against the odds and succeeding.

He has already released three full-length albums—“Progressions”, “Polluted” and “Melodramatic—and his singles “Don’t Stop”, “Fold it Back” and “Take A Chance” have all climbed onto multiple Billboard charts.

Daniel is currently on a National tour with his band: the Collective Bus, opening for notable superstar artists: John Waite, Anna Nalick and legendary Woodstock performer Melanie.

Music by Matthew Sklar
Lyrics by Chad Beguelin
Based upon the New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum

Elf the Musical, based on the 2003 New Line Cinema hit starring Will Ferrell, is the charming tale of Buddy, a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. Buddy is elf-raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, he embarks on a journey to New York City with dreams to find his birth father and discover his true identity. What’s an adopted elf to do when he realizes his father is on Santa’s ‘naughty’ list and his half-brother doesn’t believe that there is a Santa Claus? It’s up to Buddy to save Christmas! Find your inner ELF as the writers of Annie and The Wedding Singer bring us the unforgettable gift of a Broadway musical for the holiday season! Dean Ford & The Beautiful Ones- A Tribute 2 Prince:

Dressed 2 the 9’s, Dean Ford embodies PRINCE with every fiber of his being, giving you a show as close as you will ever get to the real thing. Ford and company perform all the hits you know and love, including the “Purple Rain” album in its entirety. But, it’s more than just the songs. He’s got the look, the moves, and the sounds down jaw-droppingly well. So well, you’ll forget it’s only a tribute.

It all started in 2012, when Dean Ford and his musician friends put on their first of many sold out tributes to the Purple One in Portland, Maine. The show, lovingly entitled “Purple Brainz” is now held annually at the prestigious, Port City Music Hall. Past shows have featured Prince and The Revolution’s own keyboardist Matt “Doctor” Fink. Lately, Ford has been sticking with a rotation of his core band, The Beautiful Ones. Though, he and the band have plenty of surprises up their frilled sleeves.

West Side Story

*****POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*****
Due to our recent rescheduling of events and building closures in light of the public health crisis, the Levoy Theatre and Off Broad Street Players had to make some tough decisions regarding our 2020 Broadway Series. In order to give our All-Youth production time in the spotlight, the decision has been made to postpone West Side Story, originally scheduled for August 7-16, 2020, to a future Broadway Series. Disney’s Frozen Jr. will instead bring Elsa’s magic and Olaf’s warm hugs to the Levoy stage August 7-9, 2020*. This decision was not made lightly, but it is ultimately the best choice given the circumstances.

The federally mandated closures directly affected the rehearsal schedule for our All-Youth Production of Disney’s Frozen Jr., eliminating half of the kids’ rehearsal schedule. Since this show has already been cast with 40 exuberant youth filling roles on and off the stage and is midway through its rehearsal process, the decision was made to reschedule Disney’s Frozen Jr. to make sure these kids still had a chance to “Let It Go!” especially with so many of their middle and high school shows getting cancelled due to the Coronavirus. Unfortunately, all our other rescheduled programming has filled up our calendar, which left few options for Disney’s Frozen, Jr. – cancel the kids’ show already in progress or postpone a future show to make room. It was a hard call to postpone the beloved West Side Story, but the iconic musical will get its chance in the spotlight – just not this year.

We will notify guests as soon as West Side Story has new dates scheduled. Due to the high volume of show postponements, indefinite mandatory closure issued by the government, and significant declines in ticket sales, we strongly encourage our guests to explore all other avenues before requesting refunds. You could transfer your tickets into another one of our amazing Broadway shows this season- The Boys in the Band by Mart Crowley, Disney’s Frozen Jr., A Midsummer Night’s Dream, or Elf the Musical. We can also offer you a Box Office credit that can be used towards any other upcoming show. This allows maximum flexibility for your schedule while also ensuring the Levoy can resume our robust and exciting schedule of events as soon as possible.

West Side Story

Based on a Conception of JEROME ROBBINS
Book by ARTHUR LAURENTS
Music by LEONARD BERNSTEIN
Lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM
Entire Original Production Directed and Choreographed by JEROME ROBBINS
Originally Produced on Broadway by Robert E. Griffith and Harold S. Prince
By Arrangement with Roger L. Stevens

The world’s greatest love story, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, is transported to modern-day New York City. Two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs: the ‘American’ Jets and the ‘Puerto Rican’ Sharks. Their struggle to survive because of their differences in a world filled with hate, violence and prejudice is one of this country’s most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time. From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story  is one of the greatest American musicals ever written for the Broadway stage.

WEST SIDE STORY  is presented through special arrangements with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.MTIShows.com

Broken Arrow- A Tribute to Neil Young:

Broken Arrow performs the music of Neil Young, featuring both the rockin’ electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements. Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. These guys always have audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show.
